Terms of sale
Article 1 : Purpose
- These general terms and conditions of sale apply without restriction or reservation to all sales made by KOON to non-professional buyers (hereinafter referred to as the “Customer” or ‘Buyer’), who place orders from the online store www.koon-cachemire.com (hereinafter referred to as “the Site”), as part of a distance selling system.
- Any order placed on the Site implies irrevocable acceptance of these general terms and conditions of sale, to the exclusion of any other document and/or conditions. The customer declares that he/she has the capacity to enter into the present contract, i.e. that he/she is of legal age and not under guardianship or trusteeship.

Article 3 : Products
- The products offered for sale are those shown on the www.koon-cachemire.com website on the day the Customer consults the site, subject to availability. However, the Company shall not be held liable for any error in the updating of stocks.
The Site does not sell used, defective or inferior products.
- We would like to draw the customer's attention to the fact that the photographs illustrating our products may differ slightly from reality due to the customer's screen settings and the lighting at the time of shooting.
- In any event, the photographs presenting the products offered in the Site's electronic catalog are not contractual, and cannot engage the Vendor's responsibility towards the purchaser.
Article 4 : Prices
- The prices applicable to orders placed from the Site are those which appear on the Site at the time the order is placed.
- Prices are indicated in euros, including all French taxes, but excluding shipping costs. In the event of delivery of products outside French territory, customs taxes and formalities are the exclusive responsibility of the Customer, unless otherwise indicated. In this case, the Customer undertakes to check whether the products ordered can be imported into the territory of the country of delivery. For countries outside the European Union, delivery is made on a DDU (Delivery Duty Unpaid) basis. The recipient will be obliged to pay any import or local taxes relating to the order.
Article 5 : Orders
- The purchaser must identify him/herself by filling in the order form proposed by the Site and follow the instructions given on the Site.
- After checking the contents of the order, as well as the total cost of the order (products ordered, shipping costs, optional extras), and correcting any errors, the buyer will confirm the order definitively. This confirmation will be considered as the conclusion of the contract.
- Once the contract has been concluded, the Vendor will send the buyer, by e-mail, an order receipt containing a summary of the information entered on the order form.
- The language available on the Site for the conclusion of the contract is French.
Article 6 : Means of payment
- For payment of the price of the products and shipping costs, the purchaser shall follow the methods indicated on the order form.
- The buyer may pay by credit card. Accepted credit cards are : CB, MasterCard®, Visa®, and American Express.
- At the time of payment, the bank requests personal information from the Internet user in order to verify the cardholder's identity and validate the transaction. The buyer must provide his/her credit card number, depending on the type of card, its expiry date and the cryptogram number (3-digit number on the back of the credit card).
- When validating the order form, the buyer guarantees the seller that he/she is in good standing with the issuer of the payment card.
Financial information will be transferred using an encrypted protocol to STRIPE or other banks providing remote electronic payment services, without third parties having access to it under any circumstances.
Article 7 : Delivery
7.1 General information
- The www.koon.cachemire.com website delivers throughout the European Union and the rest of the world, please consult the list of countries to which we deliver our products. The product ordered is delivered to the address shown on the buyer's order form. This address may differ from the billing address.
- Delivery in France is made, on the buyer's initiative, by colissimo or by courier in Paris only.
- International deliveries must be made by colissimo, Chronopost or dhl.
Delivery times depend on the delivery address and the means of delivery selected by the customer.
- In the event of damage, the purchaser must express his/her reservations clearly and precisely on the delivery note, a copy of which is sent to the seller by the carrier. In this respect, it is the buyer's responsibility to check the contents, conformity and condition of the product upon delivery. This verification is deemed to have been carried out once the purchaser, or a person duly authorized by him/her, has signed the delivery note presented by the carrier's receiver.
- Despite the care taken in preparing orders, it is possible that a product may be missing or that an error may have occurred during preparation. If you notice such an error, please notify us by e-mail at contact@koon-cachemire.com within 48 hours of receiving your order.
7.2 Delivery
Availability and shipping time:
- The immediate availability of KOON products is guaranteed if the word “Available” is indicated on the product's sales page at the time of purchase. The shipping time for these products varies from 1 to 4 days from the order date. We endeavour to process your order as quickly as possible.
Article 8 : Right of withdrawal
- In accordance with the provisions of article L.121-20 of the French Consumer Code, the purchaser has a period of fourteen (14) working days from the date of receipt of the product to exercise his or her right of withdrawal from the Vendor, without having to justify his or her reasons or pay any penalties, for the purpose of exchange or reimbursement.
- The purchaser shall inform the Vendor of his intention to withdraw, by e-mail, before the expiry of the 14-day period provided for in the previous paragraph, at the following address: contact@koon-cachemire.com
- The products concerned by the retraction must be returned by the purchaser, as soon as possible and at the latest within 14 days following notification of his retraction, to the following address:

- If the right of withdrawal is exercised within the aforementioned period and in accordance with the conditions set out in this article, only the price of the returned product(s) will be reimbursed by the seller; the cost of returning the product(s) will be borne by the customer.
- In accordance with article L221-28 3° of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal does not apply to orders for products made to customer specifications or clearly personalized. This is notably the case for special orders, outside the options offered on the site (specific size, color change, etc.).
- The Seller will not reimburse additional costs if the consumer has expressly chosen a more expensive delivery method than the standard one proposed by the Site.
- However, we will only accept the exchange and refund of products if all the following conditions are met The following return conditions must be met:
The product must not have been worn, used, modified, washed or damaged.
The product must be returned in its original packaging and in full (packaging, accessories, etc.), accompanied by the purchase invoice
- In the event that the return of the product by the buyer is due to an error on the part of the Vendor, such as a product missing from the order or a product received that does not conform (subject to article 3 hereof) or a manufacturing defect in the product, we undertake to reimburse, in addition to the purchase price of the product, the shipping costs incurred by the buyer for the return of the product to our Company.
The buyer must report the error by e-mail to contact@koon-cachemire.com within 48 hours of receiving the order.
- Purchasers who have exercised their right of withdrawal under the conditions set out in this article will be reimbursed within 14 days of the date on which the Vendor becomes aware of the exercise of their right of withdrawal, under the conditions set out in paragraph 2 of this article. This refund period will be deferred, however, until the Seller has received the products returned by the Buyer.
- The Buyer is informed and accepts that no reimbursement or exchange will be made to the Buyer who has not exercised his/her right of retraction under the conditions of the present article.

Article 10: Personal information
- The transmission of information on the www.koon-cachemire.com site takes place in a secure environment using current Internet protocols.
Payment card numbers are not stored on the www.koon-cachemire.com site, but on our bank's secure site.
The Seller undertakes not to divulge any information to third parties. This information is confidential and will only be used to process the order.
- In accordance with the French Data Protection Act of January 6, 1978, you have the right to access, rectify and object to any personal data concerning you. Article 11: Applicable law
- The general sales conditions and the present contract are governed by French law.
Article 12 : Modifications and updates
- The general terms and conditions of sale are modified regularly, notably in consideration of any changes in legislation. The new terms and conditions of sale will apply from the date they are posted on the Site and for all orders placed from that date.
